Ep. 6: Alice Punishes Her Useless Hand While Hiding a Kitten with Athena's Help

Akari stays overnight at Orange Planet with Alice, who punishes her left hand for being useless. Alice reveals a forbidden kitten named Maa-kun hidden in her wardrobe and introduces Athena, her clumsy mentor and one of the Three Great Water Fairies. Akari observes Athena subtly supporting Alice, such as masking Maa-kun’s cries with song. Akari reassures Alice that her left hand has value, and the next day, Alice notices she can hold notebooks with it. However, Maa-kun disappears after school. Akari and Alice search for the missing pet until Athena sings to reveal him. Athena admits she knew about the kitten all along and informs Alice that Maa-kun has been named Orange Company's president to replace the recently deceased leader.
