Ep. 12: Akari encounters a magical cafe and participates in the Aqua nightshine windchime ritual

During a hot summer day, Akari follows President Aria into a hidden cafe for cats, only to find it vanishes into a boarded-up building upon her exit. Later, she purchases a noctilucent nightshine windchime, a summer specialty of Aqua. For a month, she carries the glowing chime everywhere and hosts tea parties with President Aria in her gondola at night. When the light begins to fade, Alicia and Akari follow Neo-Venezian tradition by rowing into the bay to let the clapper drop into the water. As the chime dies, it leaves behind a rare tear-shaped crystal, causing Akari to begin crying.
