The troupe attempts to guess Granny Anna's age and plan her birthday celebration. Meanwhile, Nadja remains unaware that her father, mother, and stepfather Count Albert Waltmüller are nearby. Collette travels to a hotel to persuade her nephew Oscar Colorado to attend a debutante ball. She recalls meeting her first husband Raymond at a ball before his death in a train accident. Following this tragedy, Duke Preminger ordered Collette to return to Vienna and placed Nadja in an orphanage. Despite Bianco and Rosso pursuing Nadja in Milan, Collette senses her daughter is searching for her. Duke Preminger expects Nadja to secure her inheritance.
