Ep. 5: Naoya and Asuha visit the palace to meet Mercelida and reconcile Astarotte

Naoya is conflicted when Mercelida, who left Asuha three years ago, reappears and flees before he can speak. Judit reveals Mercelida is the queen and Asuha’s half-sister, urging Naoya to keep this secret from Astarotte. Naoya and Asuha disguise themselves as maids to enter the palace, where they are discovered but selected as escorts per Mercelida’s request. Naoya thanks Mercelida for raising Asuha. Mercelida explains she hid Asuha to prevent a throne battle between sisters. Noting Astarotte’s sadness, Naoya invites Mercelida to visit her class during a parent-visit day. The visit allows Astarotte and Mercelida to finally reconcile and mend their relationship.
