Irritated by others using Naoya, Astarotte disappears after receiving amusement park tickets. Naoya locates her near the World Tree, where an argument causes her to accidentally activate a gate, transporting her to the human world. Desperate to return her, Naoya and Asuha seek the sage Ingrid Sorveig Sorgrims. They must solve a riddle to gain an audience, which Asuha answers using her underwear. The sage explains that the gate connects to the Succubus race. Although Ingrid agrees to assist, she discovers that the human world lacks sufficient magic for Astarotte to reactivate the portal and return home.
