Atom Revived but Amnesiac After Dr. Tenma Rewrites His Memories and Claims Paternity
Mar 21, 2004Atom’s sacrifice restored human-robot relations, yet he remains unconscious after shielding robots from a missile. Dr. Ochanomizu tirelessly repairs him while global hopes for his return grow. Tenma arrives, claiming he alone can save Atom. Ochanomizu entrusts the boy to him. One month later, Atom revives but fails to recognize Ochanomizu, believing he is human and Tenma is his father. Tenma has rewritten Atom’s memories. Meanwhile, Lamp pursues both Atom and Tenma, adding danger to this new reality.

Mar 28, 2004Atom regains his memories and returns to Ochanomizu, prompting Tenma to aggressively seize control of the Ministry of Science using a robot dog. Tenma demands a private meeting with Atom, threatening to detonate a bomb within the facility. The confrontation takes place at Plant 7, a site significant to Tenma’s past with his son Tobio. During this encounter, Tenma’s deep sorrow and despair over abandoning Atom are revealed. In a fit of madness, Tenma raises the blast furnace temperature to destroy the Ministry. As the facility nears explosion, Tenma urges Atom to flee, forcing the young robot to make a painful decision regarding his creator’s fate.
