Yukari Tanizaki’s bicycle fails while she is late for school, prompting her to steal another student’s bike to arrive on time. Chiyo Mihama enters the homeroom as a ten-year-old prodigy, demonstrating skills in crafting plush toys and preparing desserts. Sakaki appears intimidating to her peers due to her quiet demeanor, though she actually loves cats; however, a stray named Kamineko bites her twice. Tomo Takino energetically attempts to compete with Chiyo in academics and Sakaki in athletics. Ayumu Kasuga, known as Osaka, is a newcomer whose nickname derives from her birthplace, contrasting sharply with common cultural stereotypes associated with that region.
