Ep. 3: Nyamo and Yukari’s Rivalry Over Popularity and a Broken Sculpture

Yukari invites Nyamo to a bar, prompting Chiyo to reveal their shared school alumni status to classmates. Jealous of Nyamo’s popularity, Yukari challenges her class to a basketball game to boost her own standing. Nyamo joins and easily wins, earning student admiration. Later, Yukari visits Nyamo under the pretext of sleeping due to construction work. When Nyamo receives a package from her uncle in Hokkaido, Yukari mistakes it for food but finds only a wooden bear sculpture. They argue and break the sculpture. At the bar, Yukari speaks fluently with a foreigner but struggles with chopsticks, which Nyamo demonstrates. Frustrated, Yukari gets drunk and falls asleep, after which Nyamo helps her return home.
