Ep. 4: Jake proves himself by defeating Mason Brown to become an official Bakugan Battle Brawler

Dan offers Jake a practice match, but Jake doubts his readiness to become an official Bakugan Battle Brawler. After locating the mole Mason Brown, Dan challenges him to a battle. Jake intervenes to prove himself but loses quickly due to inexperience, feeling he has failed Dan. Upset the next day, Jake receives training from Julie, a Subterra master, to find his own battling style. He returns for a rematch with Mason, facing a hostile crowd. With renewed confidence, Jake easily defeats Mason. Before the Brawlers can pursue him, Mason teleports away from the stadium. Dan congratulates Jake, who officially becomes a Battle Brawler.
