Takagi and Miyoshi feel responsible for the rift between Mashiro and Azuki, who refuse to apologize. Takagi arranges a meeting at the zoo to explain the situation to Miyoshi. The discussion becomes complicated when an upset Aoki appears just as Miyoshi arrives. To persuade Miyoshi to stay, Takagi proposes marriage, and she accepts after Aoki clarifies the circumstances. Miyoshi agrees to let Takagi and Aoki maintain their contact, provided she and Aoki also become friends. The group invites Azuki for tea, leading Azuki to send a forgiveness message to Mashiro, which leaves him confused.
