Ep. 13: Takagi seeks inspiration at the zoo and meets Aoki to discuss gender perspectives for their manga work.

Takagi visits the zoo to find inspiration for a new heroine after agreeing to create a gag manga with Miura. He encounters Aoki, and the two exchange insights on how men and women perceive the world, supporting each other as fellow manga artists. Their frequent phone conversations cause Miyoshi to receive a busy signal whenever she attempts to call Takagi, leading to her suspicion. Later, Takagi, Aoki, and Iwase meet at the zoo, where Iwase presents Takagi with a book she authored. Takagi remains unbothered by Iwase’s award win and declines to compare their works, prompting Iwase to angrily declare her intention to become a manga story writer. Meanwhile, Miyoshi discovers Iwase’s novel and a concealed letter at the studio, causing her to leave the office in tears.
