Rei abandons the Bladebreakers to search for Driger in the mountains. Mariah locates him, defeats him in combat, and urges him to rejoin the White Tigers. Meanwhile, the remaining Bladebreakers realize Rei is missing. Takao and Max travel into the mountains to find him. Takao challenges Rei to a battle, promising that victory allows Rei to leave permanently. Rei defeats Takao. Upon learning that the Bladebreakers desire his return without requiring a Bit Beast, Rei decides to rejoin his former teammates.
