On the morning of the Asian Beyblade Tournament semi-finals, Takao oversleeps while Rei stays behind to ensure he wakes up. Max begins his match early as the tournament commences. Takao and Rei encounter a traffic jam caused by a landslide attributed to Kevin, prompting them to walk. They choose a mountain route where Rei sprains his ankle, forcing Takao to carry him. Back at the venue, Team Bladebreakers learns of the landslide and worries about their teammates. If Takao fails to arrive soon, the team faces forfeiture. With time running out, Kai unexpectedly volunteers to stall for time until Takao and Rei can reach the arena.
