Kyojyu works through the night before the Tournament while Kevin from the White Tigers attempts to infiltrate their sleeping quarters to steal or destroy Rei's Driger. Mariah delivers a speech that prevents Kevin from targeting Driger, leading him to instead steal one of Kyojyu's disks while the latter prepares tea. Rei intercepts Kevin before he can flee, resulting in a battle for the disk. During the fight, Rei becomes distracted by Kevin's display of mercy, allowing Driger to escape from his Bey. Takao subsequently engages Kevin in battle, defeating him and recovering the disk. This outcome leaves Kai disappointed in Rei, while Rei remains dissatisfied with his own performance.
