Following a non-competition defeat against the All Starz at the BBA Research Center, the Bladebreakers infiltrate the high-tech facility to gather intelligence on their rivals. During their exploration, they encounter two additional All Starz members, Eddie and Steve, who utilize a basketball and an American football as launchers respectively. This encounter prompts Max to discover more details regarding his mother's employment at the BBA. Specifically, he learns about a rumor explaining why he was not selected to join the All Starz Team, adding personal context to his competitive motivations and the organization's inner workings.
