Ep. 2: Ryu serves sake and an Old Pal to CEO Kurushima while helping a distressed woman
While covering a shift at Edenhall bar, long-time customer Taizo Kurushima, chairman and CEO of Hotel Cardinal, visits. Ryu Sasakura serves him cocktails, which Kurushima dismisses as awful, requesting sake instead. Miwa and Yukari offer Ryu a job, but he declines. Ryu then invites Kurushima back to Edenhall, serving him an Old Pal cocktail originally made by the former owner, who was Kurushima's friend. Impressed, Kurushima gives Ryu his card. Later, Miwa and Yukari return to Edenhall to persuade Ryu to join them again. They are interrupted by an exhausted woman fleeing heavy rain. She requests a drink, and Ryu prepares a Bull Shot that satisfies and calms her. This positive experience leads her to alter her harsh behavior at her legal firm.
