Yukari Higuchi surprises her friends by announcing her sudden engagement. Concurrently, Hayase, a manager at an industrial machinery company, faces workplace pressure. After acting rudely toward a smoking woman in Edenhall, he apologizes upon his next visit. Ryu invites him behind the bar to share information about the woman’s situation as a coworker. Hayase returns to the bar multiple times, eventually meeting the woman again to apologize and establish a friendship. Separately, Yukari confesses to Ryu that she announced the engagement solely to please her ailing grandmother, realizing her motivation was incorrect. The featured cocktail is an Alexander.
