Ep. 2: Five Treasures Arrive as Takechiyo Confirmed Shogun Amidst Ninja Conflict

During the new shogun's succession ceremony, Takechiyo is confirmed as heir after a scroll reveals Iga Oboro's death, disappointing Kunichiyo. At the Ooi River, five Kouga ninjas confront Iga attackers. Kaso Himonji employs Grass Fire while Kazuma Kusanagi uses Heaven's Lyre whips, but an Iga ninja cloaks the area in darkness via Darkness Spider. Shichito Gei'in counters with Firefly Squid to illuminate the scene, allowing Tenshin to defeat the enemies using Thousand-Handed Kannon. Later, Tadanaga questions Gei'in regarding Gennosuke's eye technique. In Jison'in Village, Hachirou considers leaving due to concerns about his and Hibiki's powers. Tadanaga, Gei'in, and Kaso Himonji discuss the duel between Gennosuke and Oboro and Kyouhachirou's interest in continuing the Kouga and Iga bloodlines. Suddenly, Tenshin appears at the door but collapses dead before them.
