Ep. 9: Legoshi rescues Haru while Louis faces political pressure and past trauma.

Louis recalls his past as illegal livestock before being adopted by Oguma of the Horns Conglomerate. Legoshi stops a carnivore student from attacking Louis, learning that Louis is targeted for lynching because his potential rise as Beastar could disadvantage carnivores. Legoshi plans to confess to Haru, but she is kidnapped by the Shishigumi, a lion gang led by a member who intends to eat her. The Mayor blocks the investigation to protect his position, blackmailing Louis with his history to ensure silence. Misinterpreting Louis's reluctance to act, Legoshi fights him and then proceeds alone to rescue Haru.
