Following a herbivore murder, Legoshi protects Juno from bullies before visiting city hall for Meteor Festival preparations. He and Aoba wander into the Black Market, where Legoshi witnesses herbivores selling body parts to carnivores. Overwhelmed by the scent of meat, he faints in an alley and is rescued by a psychotherapist who suggests his love for Haru is actually predatory instinct. The therapist provides a rabbit-themed magazine to test this theory. Legoshi returns to school and reconciles with Aoba, who shares his disgust at the market's activities.
