Ep. 19: The Akamatsu team faces mirror-based psychological attacks while Kaede is targeted by the Superhuman Federation.

The Akamatsu Industries team recovers from a gas attack that turned them into man-eating zombies, though the mastermind remains missing and his motives are unclear. It is confirmed that Kaede was the intended target. The Superhuman Federation contacts Akamatsu headquarters to offer her a job, a move Miyako Asami identifies as a recruitment tactic by a research and development company seeking to leverage Kaede’s abilities for expansion. The Federation views taking Kaede as mere business, even if it involves manipulating neuronoids or inflicting nightmares. While the team travels to ModeWarp to investigate this new threat, Keita and Hinoki become trapped in a funhouse mirror attraction they are constructing. Simultaneously, the Akamatsu members encounter mirror images that attack their deepest insecurities, raising questions about whether the Superhuman Federation is responsible or if a darker force is at play.
