Ep. 88: Asta and Noelle vow to defeat the Midnight Sun while infiltrating their hideout with Mereoleona.

Asta and Noelle visit Leopold in the hospital, where Fuegoleon remains in a coma. Inspired by Fuegoleon’s past encouragement, they swear to defeat the Midnight Sun in his name. Asta expresses confusion to Noelle regarding Vetto’s statement about being unable to forgive humans. Klaus warns them to remain vigilant against spies, and a shadow entity attaches itself to Asta as they depart. Klaus reflects on the Royal Knights, noting that despite their strength, members like Luck and Zora are notorious troublemakers. The shadow attempts to spy on Mereoleona but is discovered, captured, and interrogated. Consequently, Mereoleona decides to launch an attack on the Midnight Sun in the morning rather than waiting three days, a move Zora suspects was always her plan. To infiltrate the hideout, the group splits into teams with orders to reach the center by any means necessary. Mereoleona teams up with Asta and Zora. As the battle begins, Rhya joins the fight, activating the Third Eye in his forehead while secretly revealing that Licht is not in the hideout but located elsewhere entirely.
