Blade recounts his past as he pursues the vampire responsible for his mother's death. During an assault on the vampire Club Feed, Makoto and Hayate cause widespread destruction. Blade joins the battle and defeats the werewolf Ladu. The vampire leader Deacon Frost infects Hayate, leading Blade to identify him as his target. Blade kills Hayate, prompting Makoto to swear revenge for the loss.
