Blade and Kikyo engage in a sword fight while recalling their past training sessions with Master Tanba. Tanba appears during the duel, having been forcibly infected by Deacon Frost while suffering from lung cancer. Blade acquires the final sword technique known as Chaotic Moon and subsequently kills Tanba. Following this victory, Deacon Frost arrives at the scene and captures Blade. The events highlight the transition of Tanba into a vampire and the immediate threat posed by Frost after Blade's triumph over his former master.
