The Vampire High Council devises a scheme to eliminate both Blade and Frost. During an ambush involving Vampire Ninjas in Vietnam, Blade encounters Stan Davis, a Marine Veteran and the sole survivor of the Vampire Super Soldier unit. Kikyo offers Stan a position to join Frost, but he declines the proposal. Consequently, Kikyo kills him. Following this event, Blade engages in a duel with Kikyo.
