Ep. 1: Amnesiac Elle arrives in Los Angeles with a tattoo and data device

In October 2032, Elle awakens in a vehicle near Los Angeles with amnesia and a black lotus tattoo. After a gang attack triggers a memory of her name, she seeks refuge at Doc Badger’s shop. Doc refuses to hand her over to the attackers, then agrees to help unlock her encrypted data device if she stops the gang. Elle defeats the gang, killing their leader, which causes a flashback of a past killing. Doc cannot decode the device but directs Elle to an upstairs neighbor. They find Joseph drunk on his couch, who may be able to assist with the mystery.
