Ep. 5: Marlowe kills a replicant while Grant hunts Elle, who uses Joseph to evade capture.

Blade Runner Marlowe stops a bus and kills a replicant with a shotgun. Chief Earl Grant informs Niander Wallace Sr. that Elle survived and vows to eliminate her. Elle asks Joseph for help tracking the hunters, but he advises against it. Joseph uses an Esper to identify the hunting party and directs Elle to have Doc Badger print photos. Grant orders officers to hunt Elle, known as Black Lotus, insisting she is human despite Officer Davis’s warning. Police search the streets, and Grant discovers Elle’s link to Doc Badger, sending a SWAT team to the shop. Joseph tricks the team with a bait and switch while Doc Badger prints photos in his apartment. Grant’s wife requests protection from the rogue replicant. Meanwhile, Elle approaches the Grants’ apartment complex where Josephine resides.
