Joseph performs a Voight-Kampff test on Elle to check if she is a Nexus-8 replicant. She recalls a black lotus tattoo symbolizing purity, leading Joseph to conclude she is human. Meanwhile, Wallace Jr. worries that Senator Bannister’s death hinders replicant legalization, while Wallace Sr. remains calm. After resting, Elle discovers the decrypted footage shows Bannister and Hooper hunting submissive replicants.
