Uryuu and Yoshi engage in combat, with Uryuu discovering his Quincy accessory hinders his power focus. After adjusting his technique to fire a potent arrow, Yoshi blocks the attack by reshaping her doll Nieder into a fan, then transforms it into a jian to knock Uryuu down. Simultaneously, Kariya breaches the Department of Research and Development to locate the Bount crest known as the Joukaishou. Despite resistance from Chad and Ichigo, Kariya secures the crest. Upon fusing with it, he asserts he possesses sufficient power to destroy Sereitei. This segment is part of The Bount: Assault on Soul Society arc, specifically entry 11 out of 18.
