Ichigo Kurosaki battles the Privaron Espada Dordonii Alessandro Del Socacchio, who initially overpowers him and demands his bankai. Ichigo refuses, prompting Dordonii to fire a cero blast, which Nelliel Tu Odelschwanck swallows and redirects. When Dordonii targets Nel, Ichigo activates his bankai to block the attack. Dordonii then requests Ichigo use his hollow powers, leading Ichigo to don his hollow mask and defeat Dordonii with one strike. At Ichigo's request, Nel heals Dordonii with her saliva. Dordonii explains he sought to regain his full Espada status by defeating Ichigo at full power. Once fully healed, he immediately attacks Ichigo again in this continuation of the Arrancar conflict.
