While Ichigo Kurosaki, Uryuu Ishida, and Yasutora Sado travel to Hueco Mundo with Kisuke Urahara, Urahara remains in Karakura Town to defend it from hollows. He devises a plan to transform Kon into a superhero named Konso Cop Karakuraizer. After Kon adapts to his new suit, he joins a team comprising Don Kanonji, Tatsuki Arisawa, Chizuru Honshou, Keigo Asano, Ururu Tsumugiya, and Zennosuke Kurumadani. The group successfully battles hollows together. Following this victory, the team encounters a woman who appears to be an arrancar, marking a significant development in their defense efforts during Ichigo's absence.
