Ep. 210: Kensei's Hollow Transformation and the Emergency Dispatch of Captains
Spiritual energy from Kensei and his squad disappears, causing alarm in the Soul Society. An emergency captain's meeting determines the response team. Urahara requests to join but is denied by Genryuusai Shigekuni Yamamoto. Instead, Hirako, Love Aikawa, Roujuurou "Rose" Otoribashi, Yadomaru Lisa, and Hachigen Ushouda from the Kidou Corps are sent. In the woods, Hiyori is attacked by a powerful hollow identified as Kensei. Hirako and other captains arrive to help, but Mashiro Kuna also transforms into a hollow and attacks. Hachigen binds both Mashiro and Kensei, yet Kensei escapes using brute strength. Meanwhile, Urahara defies orders to stay behind, using a cloak to mask his energy. Tessai Tsukabishi from the Kidou Corps accompanies him as he prepares to leave.
