Kyouraku and Ukitake engage Stark, who observes Ukitake’s shikai absorbing and reflecting his cero. A Garganta opens, revealing Wonderweiss Mergera and the giant hollow Hooleer. Wonderweiss stabs Ukitake, while Stark blasts Kyouraku with a cero, causing both to collapse. Wonderweiss’s scream shatters the ice trapping Halibel, freeing her safely. He then clears smoke from Baraggan, restoring him, and has Hooleer extinguish the flames around Aizen, Gin Ichimaru, and Kaname Tousen. As the Soul Reapers panic, the Vizards arrive unexpectedly at fake Karakura Town before the trio. This segment is part of the Arrancar: Downfall arc, episode 13 of 39.
