Yasutora Sado acquires a cursed cockatiel containing the spirit of Yui'ichi Shibata. The misfortune affecting the bird's owner stems from a Hollow named Shrieker, who has been pursuing the boy's soul. Shrieker attacks Sado before the Shinigami Rukia arrives to intervene and assist him. This narrative segment constitutes the fourth installment of the Agent of the Shinigami arc, representing episode four out of a total of twenty in the series.
