Following the assault by The Schiff, Saya consents to provide her blood to Irène. Upon consumption, Irène’s body undergoes a transformation, crystallizing and subsequently shattering into fragments. The Schiff members recognize that they have been deceived and determine that Diva’s blood is essential for their survival. Consequently, they depart the scene, carrying away the majority of Irène’s remains. Saya and Kai are left to grieve the loss of Irène. This sequence of events highlights the critical nature of specific blood types for The Schiff’s existence and underscores the tragic consequences faced by those involved in the conflict.
