Ep. 1: Staz resolves to resurrect Fuyumi after she dies and becomes a ghost in the Demon World.

Staz Charlie Blood, a vampire boss living as an otaku, meets human Fuyumi Yanagi and becomes infatuated. While Staz fights a challenger wielding demon plants with help from his second-in-command Deku, Fuyumi is killed by a rogue plant. Staz discovers her bones and ghostly form, deducing she became a spirit, and vows to resurrect her. Fuyumi recalls entering the Demon World and leads Staz to a dimensional portal called the Black Curtain. Staz prevents her entry, explaining its dangers, and decides to visit the Human World himself. At a cafe, owners Saty and Mamejirō use Third Eye magic to analyze Fuyumi’s state. To manage his absence, Staz appoints new recruit Mimic Yoshida as a body double who transforms into his likeness. After a welcoming party where Deku confirms Staz’s determination, Staz and Fuyumi step through the Black Curtain together.
