Staz recruits Mamejirō and Fuyumi to track Wolf in the Demon World, while Bell watches him suspiciously. The group encounters Wolf on a demon carriage, leading to a wager where Staz bets Fuyumi against Wolf’s assistance in finding a specific book. Staz prepares for a bowling match using manipulative magic, but Wolf chooses boxing instead. During the fight, Staz secretly absorbs Wolf’s magic through a bite, turning the tide despite Wolf’s transformation and insults. The match ends when a tearful Fuyumi and Bell intervene, transporting everyone away. Bell then admits she held the book all along. Staz and his companions fail to read the anagrammatic text, realizing only the author can decipher it. Shocked, Staz discovers the author is his older brother, Braz D. Blood, who resides in the Demon World Acropolis.
