Ep. 5: Staz battles Liz's zombies while Braz removes his seal to awaken his true power.
Liz's zombies defeat Staz repeatedly, prompting Braz to remove a seal on his magic. Franken deduces that Fuyumi can stabilize by absorbing Staz's blood and magic, potentially rivaling other demons. He reveals his plan to use Fuyumi against Akim Papradon, an Artificial Demon No. 9 created from other demons' body parts. Akim escaped Franken's laboratory and now hunts demons. Wolf agrees to defeat Akim in exchange for returning Fuyumi to her ghost form. Braz offers Staz a deal to teach resurrection in exchange for help, but Staz refuses. After Braz removes the seal, Staz awakens his true power and defeats the zombies. Meanwhile, Wolf fights the North District boss, only for Akim to appear by ripping through him. Braz later picks up a crushed boulder, reminding Liz of Staz's power.
