Liz fails to find Fuyumi using Braz’s equipment, while Staz is taken to the Southern District’s snowman boss, learning that Knell Hydra resides in the inaccessible Dimensional Highway. Fuyumi signals Bell at a ramen shop, prompting Knell to flee. Liz relays Fuyumi’s location to Staz, who demands her return. Bell imprisons Staz in her Grid Room to let Knell escape via spatial magic. Staz provokes Bell into battle by prioritizing Fuyumi, leading to a clash where Bell abandons her clothes to escape his trap. She surrenders when Staz finds her diary. Bell takes Staz to Fuyumi, lamenting his ignorance of her feelings. Staz acknowledges the consequences of his actions, allowing Bell to vent her frustration. As they enter the Dimensional Highway, Bell nearly confesses her love due to his sincerity.
