Ep. 26: Arigami blooms cause plant transformations as Kaede merges with Susano-oh to defeat Murakumo and complete the matsuri.

Giant Arigami buds release mitamas that turn people into plants, prompting Momiji to endure the Kushinada pulse. Kaede merges with Susano-oh to shield him from Murakumo, who drains energy until his mitama shatter. Susano-oh defeats Murakumo with an energy bolt while children across Japan sing along to Momiji’s song, completing the matsuri. The TAC members feel warmth and happiness. Momiji telepathically questions Kaede’s loss of hope before collapsing. Kusanagi brings Momiji to Kaede, and Susano-oh, reverted to a baby, revives her. Kaede and Susano-oh vanish into the earth. The TAC disperses: Sakura becomes an idol, Matsudaira reunites with family, Takeuchi and Kunakida work at a temple, and Yaegashi introduces Kome to her mother. Momiji and Kusanagi walk in a forest, realizing they are back at their first meeting spot. Kusanagi recalls her funny panties, causing Momiji to blush and suggest they start over before an off-screen kiss occurs.
