Shirou doubts Michiru is human, prompting Marie to send her to Rabbit Town to retrieve a stolen wallet from Gram Grandma. Michiru teaches literacy to orphans, but Gram Grandma plans to sell them to pay a gang debt. During the escape, Michiru discovers she can change her arm size to break free. After Gram Grandma is arrested, Michiru blames Shirou for his delay and shows her student ID as proof of her humanity. She expresses hatred for beastkin cruelty, vows to fix Anima City, cure her illness, and leave the city forever.
