Michiru learns that her best friend, Nazuna Hiwatashi, who contracted the beastkin disease prior to Michiru, has joined the Silver Wolf cult. This group reveres Ginrou, the sacred deity of the Beastkin known as the silver wolf. Determined to find a cure for Nazuna’s condition as well, Michiru arranges a meeting between her friend and Barbaray. However, Nazuna exploits this opportunity to negotiate a settlement for the Silver Wolf. She declares her preference for serving as their idol rather than seeking a cure, ultimately abandoning Michiru. This betrayal leaves Michiru feeling deeply downhearted and disappointed by her friend's choice to align with the cult instead of pursuing a remedy for their shared affliction.
