Fuyumi reveals to Midoriya and Bakugo that Natsuo blamed Endeavor for Toya’s death due to their close bond. Endeavor attempts to return the trio to U.A., but their car is ambushed by street whitelines controlled by the villain Ending. Holding Natsuo hostage, Ending argues that heroes cannot kill, yet Endeavor killed the High-End Nomu, implying he can do so again. Endeavor hesitates upon seeing Natsuo’s fear as Ending launches cars and suspends the hostage before a train. Bakugo rescues Natsuo, Midoriya uses Blackwhip to secure the vehicles, and Todoroki captures Ending. Endeavor apologizes for abandoning his responsibilities, but Natsuo refuses forgiveness. Endeavor accepts this, deciding his best contribution is ensuring his family’s happiness without him.
