Kodaka prepares nutritious meals for Maria after noticing her chip-heavy diet, causing Kobato to feel jealous and overlooked. He discovers Yozora rewards Maria with snacks for her tasks, leading Maria to affectionately address Kodaka as onii-chan. Meanwhile, Sena desires to enter a game world, prompting Rika to introduce a virtual reality RPG beta test. Kodaka selects a wizard class but receives a weak character. The group levels up initially, but the boss battle fails when Maria disconnects. Yozora defeats Sena through trickery. It is revealed Kobato controlled Maria’s avatar to reconnect with her brother, sparking conflict with Maria. Yozora accepts Kobato into the club. That night, Kobato joins Kodaka in bed, asserting her exclusive role as his sister.
