Ep. 8: Nariyuki faces swimming lessons while Uruka prepares for an Australian university opportunity

Nariyuki risks failing physical education and accepts extra swimming instruction. After the coach departs, Kirisu teaches the class and helps Nariyuki overcome his fear of water. In the showers, Uruka observes Kirisu’s physique and recalls her past athletic dedication. Uruka confesses anxiety about an upcoming competition, prompting Kirisu to advise her to ignore judgment and enjoy the sport. Uruka subsequently wins the tournament, leading the Headmaster to offer her a study abroad position at an Australian university. She questions Fumino about long-distance relationships and her unspoken feelings for Nariyuki. When Nariyuki arrives, Uruka hides under a table. Fumino discusses her avoidance with him, and he expresses support despite missing her. Uruka is pleased by this but keeps the offer secret. She asks Nariyuki to tutor her in English, causing him to cry as it is the first time she has desired to study.
