During the sea battle, Mist shinobi attack Funato ships, but Isari anticipates their moves and sets a trap. On the island, Kagura deciphers a message from Seiren’s troops, realizing the naval engagement is a diversion for an elite Funato assault on the Hidden Mist. Boruto proposes traveling to the village, and Buntan agrees to assist only after regaining freedom, a promise Kagura makes.
