After Boruto falls into the water, he is saved by a mysterious person, though his friends claim he fainted from heat. A boat arrives with captain Kajiki and a boy named Ikada. Kagura identifies Kajiki as the leader of a shipbuilding colony north of the Mist. Kajiki tows their vessel to the island and repairs it with assistance from Team Denki and Boruto. While Kagura and Sarada contact Chojuro, Kawaki and Mitsuki survey the harbor. Meanwhile, the Funato clan prepares for war after Tenma reports the mobile fortress's destruction to Isari and Seiren. Kagura learns from the Mizukage's aide that Chojuro has gone to the front lines. Kajiki then sends Ikada and Boruto to retrieve an engine part from a nearby factory.
