Ep. 10: The group encounters Hoodman's bombs and a whale while reaching the open sea.

Friends arrive at the open sea where Hoodman attacks with bombs, causing the Scorpion to split in half. A smaller bomb damages Bosco's balloon, forcing a water landing before a whale bites the Tutty's fishing pole, driving the ship. Frog cuts the rope to free them. After repairing the balloon, Bosco attempts to reach the island but crashes ashore due to strong currents, leaving Apricot unconscious. Frog explores the island while Tutty and Otter seek medicine for Apricot, leaving her unattended. During this time, the Unicorn kidnaps the princess after the Messenger promises Hoodman will remove him from the island if he complies. Meanwhile, Hoodman reaches the other side of the island to seize the princess.
