In a ruined world where civilization has fallen, people survive using what little remains of past technology. Gear works at a junk shop and helps recover stolen items with Qu-0213, a robot with four distinct personalities, and White Bear, a gambler. Gear is suddenly given a major assignment to steal a valuable object. The mission leads to confrontations with skilled killers, high-speed chases, and intense fights. Unbeknownst to Gear and his team, the object they take is connected to a hidden truth that may change the world.
