Maki sends the girls to the Sukurada factory, where they find evidence linking former prime minister Shiguru Tonoyama to illegal activities. A flashback reveals Maki was reassigned to lead the Warrior team to distract her from the black diamond investigation. Fashion designer Miriam Bardo arrives in Neo Tokyo, but Maki recognizes the scar on her partner’s hand as identical to that of her fiancé Masato. The designer is actually Ruby, who smuggled black diamonds for Tonoyama. Rio and Nanvel infiltrate the factory and discover the illegal manufacture of battle androids. Maki confronts her chief with the evidence, but he ignores it, prompting Team Warrior to act independently. They engage in a shoot-out with the androids, but the arrival of the Armored Riot Squad leads to them being accused of terrorism. Masato then reveals himself as the mastermind behind the smuggling operation.
